1. Why this page exists
Trust is the only currency a campaign actually has. The Peter Obi 2027 campaign commits to a standard of public disclosure that goes beyond what the Electoral Act 2022 and INEC require, because the donors who fund this campaign - most of them small donors, many of them in the diaspora - deserve to see exactly where the money goes and how decisions are made.
This page is the index. The numbered sub-pages below are updated in real time as events change.
2. Our standing commitments
- (a) Quarterly transparency report. Within thirty (30) days of the end of each calendar quarter, we publish a public report covering inflows, outflows, headcount, vendor spend, and a narrative review of operations.
- (b) Annual independent audit. Once per annum, an independent professional services firm registered in Nigeria conducts an audit of campaign financial records. The audit opinion is published in full.
- (c) On-chain verifiability. The wallet addresses used to receive contributions are published. Anyone with a blockchain explorer can verify the aggregate inflows.
- (d) INEC filings. All filings made to the Independent National Electoral Commission under sections 88 and 89 of the Electoral Act 2022 are made publicly available within fourteen (14) days of filing.
- (e) Conflict of interest register. The Authorising Principal and every member of his immediate management circle declare conflicts of interest, which are recorded on Governance — Section 2.
- (f) Plain-language summaries. Every report is published with a plain-language summary, suitable for a non-financial reader.
3. What this page does not do
