Acceptable conduct

4.1 Purpose
The Campaign is a public-facing political platform. To preserve the integrity, security, and accessibility of the Site for all users, you must comply with the rules set out in this Section and any additional rules posted on the Site from time to time.
4.2 Prohibited activities
You must not, and must not encourage or permit any other person to:
- Unlawful activity: use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, your jurisdiction of residence, or any jurisdiction with subject-matter jurisdiction over you or the Campaign;
- Electoral offences: commit, attempt to commit, or solicit the commission of any offence under Part VIII of the Electoral Act 2022, including impersonation, double registration, voter inducement, and the making of false statements;
- Fraud: impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity, including the Authorising Principal, the Campaign, INEC, or any third party;
- Sanctions evasion: use the Site to evade any sanctions regime;
- Money laundering: use the Site to launder the proceeds of crime, fund terrorism, or finance the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction;
- Unauthorised access: attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its underlying infrastructure, or any user account;
- Probing and scanning: probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network, or to breach any security or authentication measures, except in accordance with our responsible-disclosure policy (see Privacy — 6.6);
- Disruption: interfere with, disrupt, or place an undue load on the Site, including by way of denial-of-service attack, traffic flooding, or resource-exhaustion;
- Scraping: use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Site or copy any of its content for any commercial purpose, without the express prior written consent of the Authorising Principal;
- Reverse engineering: decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer any portion of the Site, except to the extent that applicable law expressly prohibits such restriction;
- Off-channel use: use any data obtained through the Site for spam, phishing, doxxing, harassment, or any commercial purpose that is not expressly permitted by us in writing;
- Defamation: publish, transmit, or link to any content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or that incites violence;
- Harm to minors: publish, transmit, or link to any content that exploits or endangers a minor in any way;
- Intellectual property infringement: publish, transmit, or link to any content that infringes a third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right, except as permitted by law;
- Privacy infringement:publish, transmit, or link to any content that discloses another person's personal data in breach of applicable law;
- Election interference: use the Site to coordinate any campaign of inauthentic engagement, including bot networks, paid trolling, deepfake content, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour as defined by major social-media platforms;
- False endorsement: falsely state or imply that any third party has endorsed the Campaign;
- Deepfakes & synthetic media: publish, transmit, or link to synthetic media depicting the Authorising Principal, his family, or any officer of the Campaign without clear and conspicuous labelling that the media is synthetic and without our prior written consent.
4.3 User-submitted content
The Site does not, at present, accept user-generated public content. If we introduce a feature that does, additional content rules will apply and supplement (but not contradict) this Section.
Where you submit private content to the Campaign by email or any other private channel, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content for the purposes for which it was submitted (for example, responding to your enquiry).
4.4 Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, take any of the following actions where we reasonably believe you have breached this Section:
- Block your access to the Site, including by IP address;
- Refuse, suspend, or refund a contribution;
- Remove or disable access to content;
- Cooperate with law enforcement and provide information lawfully requested;
- Pursue any other remedy available at law or in equity.
4.5 Reporting abuse
If you become aware of any breach of this Section, please write to contact@peterobi.supportwith “Abuse” in the subject line and as much detail as you can reasonably provide. We treat reports confidentially.
